Day 1: Ashgabat
After being welcome in the Ashgabat International Airport, you will begin your tour with visiting the Horse-farm for discovering the pride of the Turkmen people - Akhal-Teke horses. The elegance of forms, grace of movements, variety of original colors of silky wool all this describes the breed of horse Akhal-Teke. You will have a short Akhal-Teke horse show program and can see the racks of horses. After you will drive back to Ashgabat. Every day is adventure and today you will have an evening city tour - visit main tourists'attraction. Overnight is in the hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat - Dashoguz - Darwaza
Today after the breakfast you will transfer to local airport and fly to Dashoguz. The city name occurs from the name of tribe associations «Dashoguz» that means «External oguz». In course of the tour you will head on to Kunya-Urgench. On this ancient territory lived and created great Avitsenna, Al-Beruni, Ibn-Battuta. En route you will observe highlights of the city : Nejameddin Kubra Mausoleum(XII-XIII c.), , Sultan Ali Mausoleum. You will also visit Kunya-Urgench Tour: Visit TurabegKhanym complex (XII-XIV c.), Sayid Ahmed Mausoleum, Gutlug Timur Minaret (XII-XIV c., in Central Asia - the highest minaret- 67 m.), Sultan Tekesh Mausoleum, II-Arslan Mausoleum, Mamun II Minaret. After you will go to the Gas Crater Darwaza (Gate to hell) The diameter of the crater is 69 meters. The depth of the crater is 30 meters. You will have a chance to observe wonderful view of the crater in the evening, when you will stop in a small village. Overnight will be at the tent.
Day 3: Darwaza - Ashgabat
The tour starts with transferring to Ashgabat. En route you will explore village named "Bahardok" and there you can see rural life of Turkmen people. In course of the tour you will discover "Old Nisa"- (UNESCO site) one of the most famous archeological monuments. Then you will continue with "Gypjak" Mosque- one of the biggest mosque in Central Asia and Mausoleum of the late President of Turkmenistan. Then you will visit the State Museum of History. The largest state Museum of Turkmenistan, established in the early 1990s. The museum collect over 130 thousand exhibits and contains thousand archaeological monuments from old Nisa and Ancient Merv. The complex is constructed in the tradition of modern national architecture. Finnish granite, valuable wood species, bronze, and facing materials from Turkey were used for decoration.The 9 halls display statuettes of Athens, Eros, silver gilded griffin, horn-shaped ivory vessels-rhytons of the Parthian era, gold jewelries, medallions-stamps from Margiana and Buddhist artifacts. Overnight is in the hotel.
Day 4: Ashgabat - Mary
The tour you will start with driving to Mary, a city in southern Turkmenistan named after the ancient city of Merv. In course of the tour you will experience Seyitjemaleddin Mosque, and Abiverd historical place situated at bottom of three mountains on suburb of desert Karakum. Upon arrival in Mary, you will visit an ancient Merv. The origin of Merv is shrouded in mystery, one thing is certain - the first written mention of it appears in the Avestan Chronicles around the VIII-VI centuries BC. On route you will explore highlights such as: Gyz Gala and Oğlanqala, Askhabs complex, Gyaur-Gala, Gala-Erk, Soltan Gala, Sultan Sanjar mausoleum, IbnZeid Mausoleum. In the evening take a train to Ashgabat. Night will be spent in a train.
Day 5: Mary - Ashgabat - Turkmenbashi
The trip starts with changing the train to another train early in the morning, which will go Turkmenbashi. The largest city-port of Turkmenistan which is situated on picturesque coast of Caspian sea.Upon arrival you will check in hotel, and take a rest. Night will be in a hotel.
Day 6: Turkmenbashi - Avaza
You will drive straight to Avaza. Resort in the east of Caspian sea, the national tourist zone of Turkmenistan located in twelve kilometres from the city of Turkmenbashi. Then you will arrive and check in the hotel. You will have an opportunity to relax on the shores of the Caspian Sea. Soon Avaza with its nice beaches which will change into the free economic touristic zone with decades of luxurious hotels, resorts and health clubs. This area is significant not only for its special geographical location, crystal clear sea water, pristine sandy beaches and mild climate, but also for its countless mineral springs and therapeutic mud. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Avaza - Turkmenbashi - Ashgabat
After breakfast you will check out of hotel. In the tour you will enjoy taking rest on the shore of the Caspian Sea then drive to Turkmenbashi airport. After you will fly to Ashgabat. You will arrive to Ashgabat in the evening. Overnight in in the hotel.
Day 8: Flight
Transfer to Ashgabat International airport.
