Day 1: Dushanbe
Upon arrival to the airport, you guide will pick up you to the city Dushanbe, capital of Tajikistan, to start you brief tour. First day of travelling will be full of sightseeing tour in capital. It includes Rudake Park, National library, White House, National State Seal, and House of Parliament. Following the Ministry of Inner Affairs, you will see the largest National Flag in the world. Its size reaches 165 m high pole, 30 m wide and 60 m long. Before having lunch, you will learn many interesting facts about country in Central Museum. Later Gurminj Museum will introduce the traditional musical instruments of Tajik people. You will also visit Asian Bazaar of Dushanbe. There are variety of things can be found there. In the evening, you will have traditional dinner. Night in a hotel
Day 2: Dushanbe - Iskanderkul Lake
Today's journey goes to the Iskanderkul Lake - Mountain lake where you will travel at the altitude of 2 255 m. It lien in famous Fann Mountain and famous all over in Tajikistan. It has wonderful landscape in Central Asia and is part of many tours in Tajikistan. In order to reach lake, we will drive via Anzob pass (3 372 m). On the top of the pass, there is incredible view to valley. At the lake you can walk along the beaches. There is a beautiful waterfall in 40-minute walk. Tajikistan has the second largest water deposit in CIS countries. They are 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers, which makes country richest in Central Asia.
Day 3: Iskanderkul Lake - Dushanbe - Hissor
After breakfast, travel back to Dushanbe. You will have a tour to Hisor fortress, historical monument of 12th -17th centuries, which is one of the main highlights of Tajikistan. It will take about 40 minutes to drive from capital city. It represents citadel and other fortified areas. Representatives of Bukhara Emirate used this place as a fort. It was protected with high strong walls. Moreover, there were even many holes for barrels and guns. Archeological researches showed that there were a pool, a big garden and a busy market square with a caravan sarai and shops. Nevertheless, today only two towers next to the main gate survived. Other sites are "Madrasa I Kuhna" mosque dating back to 16th-17th centuries, the mausoleum of "Mahdumi Azam" from 16th century, which were reconstructed not long ago. You will spend night in a hotel.
Day 4: Dushanbe - Airport
After a quick tour in Tajikistan, you will be transferred to the airport.
