This tour offers you the nice opportunity to explore the magnificent land of lofty mountains, located in Central Asia. You will enjoy seeing our primeval nature, hidden and coorful places, and unforgettable ancient sights! The whole route goes along the Great Silk Road passing through the towering Tian Shan massif. You will visit the world's second largest alpine lake Issyk-Kul, as well as the godlike Son Kul Lake, situated on an alpine plateau in the centre of Kyrgyzstan (3013m. above sea level). It will take you back to the time of free nomads with all their traditions and customs.

Tour summary:

Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake

Meeting at Manas International Airport, transfer to Bishkek City (30 min. drive), breakfast. Transfer to Issyk Kul Lake (200 km), the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608 m.above sea level) passing the Burana Tower (minaret and watch tower of Balasagun city from the 11th century) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors), lunch. Arrangement in Hotel on the northern beach of the lake, rest. Dinner at 7 p.m.

Day 2: Issyk Kul Lake - Karakol

Breakfast in hotel at 8 o'clock. 12 pm transfer to Karakol city by car (200 km). On the way, visiting of the ancient stone inscriptions (800 B.C.), including the local museum. Lunch at 1 o'clock. Later , one hour cruise on a steam boat. Dinner will be at 8 p.m. Night in a Guesthouse.

Day 3: Karakol - Tamga

Breakfast at 8 o'clock. Karakol City Tour. The tour includes the visit of the colorful Dungan mosque. One of its attractions is the fact that it is built in Chinese style without metal parts. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church with a unique icon inside. Later, you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the greatest explores of Central Asia. Traditional lunch at 1 pm and leave Karakol, driving to the impressive Jeti Oguz, the gorge of 7 red rocks (30km). Transfer to Tamga village. Dinner served in the Tamga Guesthouse, where you will also spend the night; sauna optional.

Day 4: Tamga - Bokonbaiva - Kochkorka (120km)

8 - 12 o'clock free time. Transfer to Kochkorka village by car. We will stop in Bokonbaeva village, for lunch in the house of a local eagle-hunter. Transfer to Kochkorka via the wonderful Orto-Tokoi water reservoir. Traditional dinner with a local family. Overnight in the Kochkor Guesthouse.

Day 5: Kochkorka - Son Kul Lake

Transfer to Son Kul Lake (the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan (3013 meters above sea level) Lunch will be taken on the way After our arrival, free time, rest . Dinner and overnight will be in traditional nomadic dwellings - yurts.

Day 6: Son Kul (3013m. above sea level)

At 9 am is your breakfast. Free time at shores of Son-Kul Lake riding horses along the lake, or just relaxing in the yurt camp watching the way of nomads life. Lunch will be served at 2 pm. Excursion to ancient petrogliphs and ritual stones. You will spend the night in yurts.

Day 7: Son Kul - Bishkek

Breakfast at 8 o'clock. Transfer to Bishkek city (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). Bishkek city tour including lunch. You will visit the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others nice and interesting places. At 7 pm a farewell dinner is served. Night in a Hotel****.

Day 8: Bishkek - Europe
Your guide will pick you up from your Hotel transfer to Manas International Airport at the time arranged previously.
